On Monday 1 April we held an opening ceremony to celebrate the installation of four new indoor cricket lanes in our Dobson Sports Hall. This was done in consultation with Eastcote Cricket Club and Marc Broom, Eastcote CC Director of Cricket and a Haydon Alumni. We had demonstrations from our PE Department and Haydon PE students, we also invited some Junior Eastcote Cricket Club Colts from Haydon to test our new facilities. We hope that our new facilities will encourage more students to take on Cricket as a sport and help our current students to enhance their skills. Alongside this, we aim to become a central hub during the autumn/winter months for local cricket teams to help them train and practise using our facilities here at Haydon
