Students arrived at Haydon School keen to discover their A Level grades which helped them secure places at the university of their choice today. University remains the preferred choice of our students with 83% of them applying to university both this year and last year.  Over 60% of grades were A*-C.  Many students performed very well as you can see from the photos below

Not only are we celebrating university placements but two degree apprenticeships in quantity surveying through Skanska.  These are very competitive and the success of students in attaining them is testament to their hard work and employability.  Other apprenticeships have been secured with British Airways and Sweetcroft Child Care.  One young man is off to join the Met Police and two others plan on travelling the world during a gap year.
